Makers

Recycling needs to be profitable in order to be the most attractive option for plastic waste.

To this end, we work toward developing commercial products that can be made using plastic waste and we partner with Makers for production. Makers also have access to the workshop to create their own commercial products.

This means Makers are paid for the work they do and this inspires more workshops and spaces to evolve.

How it works

Makers are paid 80% of the retail price of DPMS commissioned products.*

Makers can volunteer to sort and shred the plastic for their own projects or shred is available to purchase at $8 per kilo (discounts for bulk apply)

Makers original pieces can be offered for sale through the workshop and via our social media/online sales. (incurs a 20% commission fee to DPMS)

Makers Fees are $50 per year to cover our insurances and maintenance costs.

Fees payable at or before Induction training.
